For our inaugural Senior Planet class, we’re offering the Introduction to Google Workspace on two dates – August 17th at 2pm and September 14th at 3pm. This class, for the 60+ crowd, is FREE, and gives a rundown of what all those Google icons are, and what they can do for you. From your email, to writing letters or books, making spreadsheets, managing photos or your to-do list, keeping track of your calendar and address book, to much much more, it’s all there at your fingertips! Give us a call at 283-2329 if you’re interested. The class lasts about an hour to an hour and a quarter.
If you don’t have a Google account, no worries! After the class is over, we’ll have some chromebooks ready to help you sign up for your own account. (Please bring your cell phone if you have one!) Once signed up, you can use your Google account from any internet connected computer (like those here in the library!), smartphone, tablet, or chromebook.
