The focus for citizenship presentation is learning the content of the Citizenship Test and becoming familiar with the types of test questions. The areas of study included include U.S. history, government, legal system, the rights of the individual, symbols, holidays, etc. Students will be able to take a mock interview and a written practice test.
Many new immigrants to Massachusetts, as well as longer-term residents, have been helped by the volunteer tutors in this program. We can also combine tutoring for English fluency and citizenship preparation.
