What We Offer: An Overview

Top Floor Learning will offer the following core classes to adults. Classes will be conducted in eight-week cycles.

1. LITERACY SERVICES: one-to-one individualized tutoring sessions or small classes

• Conversation classes in English as a Second Language, Intermediate and Advanced
• GED Preparation, including one-to-one tutoring in math, reading and writing
• Official GED ½ Length Practice Test
• Full Battery GED Test
• Citizenship Preparation
• One-to-one ESL tutoring
• One-to-one reading & writing
• Basic Math Skills for Everyday Life
• Financial Literacy
• Bridge to College

2. LIFELONG LEARNING COURSES

These will take the form of: lectures, discussions, single classes, courses, workshops, or demonstrations, offered throughout the year on the third level at Palmer Public Library and selected off-site locations. Classes will be added each semester in response to requests from the community. The following is a selection of classes offered:
